A small company that stays with the film.
Divan Film is a writing room, a field production outfit and a post house under one roof. The point is not to be big — it is that a story never has to be handed across companies, each blaming the last for what arrived broken.
We work with production companies, independent directors, broadcasters and media institutions. Sometimes we take a film end to end. Sometimes we are the crew a foreign team needs on the ground, or the post house that rescues a project which stalled halfway.
Our people are writers, researchers, producers, camera operators, editors, and sound and color operators, working in Arabic and English, and used to regional and international network standards.
A divan is where writing is gathered — and chosen.
In Arabic, a دیوان is both a collected body of writing and the council room where a matter is weighed before it is decided. The name describes the work: we sit with a story before it becomes an image, we follow it into the field, and we re-order it once it has been shot.

Script first
We don't roll a camera or start cutting before the narrative structure is clear on paper — even on projects that arrive fully shot.
A straight opinion
If an idea won't carry a film, or a country is one we cannot shoot in safely, we say so in the first meeting.
Sourced and cleared
Every claim in our scripts has a source, every permit is real, and every archive asset has a clear legal status before it enters the film.
Dates that hold
A written schedule, defined delivery points, and early warning the moment something threatens to slip.
